Contact Information
We require a valid contact email address for all correspondence and a mobile phone number so we can contact you during your stay. Please let us know if any of these details change at any stage.
Group Bookings
Where a booking is made on behalf of several individuals the booking is conditional on the person(s) paying having authorization from all the individuals named on the booking to enter into this contract. The terms of this contract will apply to each member of the group as though they had paid for their own retreat individually and directly to us.
Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of CAD$500 per guest is due at the time of booking.
Confirmation
Once the deposit is received we will confirm the booking and issue an invoice for the remaining balance.
Payments
Balance of the invoice is due 8 weeks (56 days) before the retreat start date.
If booking less than 8 weeks (56 days) before the start date then payment is due in full.
Zendrift must receive the exact amount invoiced in Canadian dollars irrespective of fluctuations in currency and irrespective of any third-party charges at the time of payment or transfer. When paying by bank transfer, please inform your bank that all transfer fees owed are to be charged to you, to prevent that Zendrift receiving a diminished amount.
Cancelation
If you cancel at any time the CAD$500 deposit is forfeited.
For cancelations made within 56 days of the start date, Zendrift will retain100% of the cost of the retreat. If another person can be found to fill the spot, then we may offer you a partial refund at our discretion.
We reserve the right in any circumstances to cancel a retreat, in which case we will offer a full refund.
Bookings are for the stated period of the retreat. There are no refunds for any unused portion of the retreat.
Your Travel Arrangements
All travel arrangements are your responsibility and at your own cost.
Zendrift is not liable for any consequences arising from delays or cancellations in any of the companies you may have made arrangements with, or for any irregularities in your documentation required for travel.
Travel Insurance
We require all participants to purchase travel insurance
It is your responsibility to have travel insurance that covers any activity proposed in the retreat that you book as well as potential losses, cancellations, illness or damage and risks. We highly encourage you to purchase “cancel for any reason” cover to protect you against the chance of cancellation.
You should bring the insurance policy with you in case of any emergency.
Your Health
It is your responsibility to consult a doctor to check that you are sufficiently fit and healthy to undertake any physical activities that you may choose to do whilst on the retreat.
We request that you inform us if you have any health problems before booking your place in a retreat. If you do not inform us about your health problems, Zendrift holds the right to cancel your reservation and will not refund any compensation. If you have health problems that may be affected by the activities of the retreat, Zendrift reserves the right to deny participation if we believe there may be a risk for your physical or psychological health.
We ask that women who are 12 to 28 weeks pregnant provide a letter from their health practitioner specifying that they are fit to travel and able to engage in the activities that we provide.
It is your responsibility to let our retreat leaders know if you have any injuries and to be mindful at all times of your own body’s capability during our retreats. If you experience any injury or discomfort during any activity during the retreat, then you must stop the activity as soon as possible, and contact a Zendrift staff member. If you continue with activities that may cause there to be a chance of further worsening of the injury, Zendrift reserves the right to deny your stay and participation in the retreat, without refunding the cost of the retreat.
Amendments
Zendrift reserves the right to make any changes deemed necessary by our team, trip leaders, teachers or partners. If your accommodation has to be changed, we will do our utmost to provide accommodation of a similar excellent rating. If a significant change becomes necessary, we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible if there is time before your departure.
Liability
We accept responsibility for ensuring that the retreats are supplied as described and that the services we are contractually obliged to provide are to a reasonable standard.
We do not accept any liability for cancellations, delays or changes caused by war, the threat of war, terrorist actions or threats, closure of airports, civil strife, industrial action, natural disaster, technical problems to transport, staff cancellations, unforeseen changes in your personal circumstances or other events beyond our control.
We are not liable for any injuries you may incur. All activities are undertaken at your own risk. We are not liable for any medical or psychiatric conditions, which may develop during or subsequent to the retreat.
We are not liable for loss of, or damage to, your personal property.
No Smoking
The property is non-smoking.
Check-in/out
Check-in time for the Property is 3:30 p.m. (Pacific Standard Time) and check out is 11:00 a.m. (Pacific Standard Time).
Hospitality
Typically, brunch is served between the hours of 9:30am and 11:00am daily, afternoon snack between 2:00pm and 4:00pm and dinner service is between 6:00pm and 8:00pm nightly. Catering will not be provided outside of these times. For the avoidance of doubt, lunch and room service are not provided by the operators. If the Client decides a meal on any given day is not required because they choose to eat elsewhere, the Guest will give adequate notice to the Staff.
Subject to the terms of Bison Lodge’s alcohol license, a selection of wines, spirits and soft drinks are available on a complimentary basis in certain parts of the Property. Bison Lodge reserves the right to refuse the service of alcohol to a Guest at their absolute discretion.
Housekeeping will attend to rooms every day. Bedroom linen is changed once per week. Laundry service is available upon request.
Photography
We will at times take photographs during a retreat for our website and promotional material, including adverts. You agree to have your photograph taken. If you are sensitive about this, please let the retreat leader know this when you arrive.
Lodge Rules
For the entirety of your stay at Bison Lodge you agree to adhere to the Lodge Rules and the terms set out in the Bison Lodge Rental Agreement (https://revelstokebisonlodge.com/rental-agreement-form/) provided that they do not contradict the Terms and Conditions outlined in this document. Bison Lodge reserves the right from time to time to amend or supplement the Lodge Rules applicable to the Property as in the Operator’s judgment, acting reasonably, are from time to time needed for the safety, care, cleanliness and efficient operation of the Property. Notice of the Lodge Rules and amendments and supplements, if any, will be given to all Guests to thereupon comply with and observe them.
Complaint Resolution
Zendrift is confident that you will not have any cause for concern during your retreat. However if you should have any problems during your stay this should first be brought to the attention of the retreat leader.
If you are not satisfied with the local resolution, then, any further comments or suggestions should be put in writing, within 14 days of the retreat end date, specifying the problems to hello@zendriftyoga.com
Rental Agreement & Security Deposit
The Retreat leader is required to sign the Bison Lodge Terms and Conditions of Use Agreement (https://revelstokebisonlodge.com/rental-agreement-form/) including Schedule “A" Waiver Release and Schedule “B” Damage Deposit Policy.
The Retreat leader will provide a standard security deposit of $5,000.00 to be delivered to Bison Lodge on arrival by pre-authorized credit card payment.
